I guess it depends on your definition of superhero. By the stictest of definitions, Batman wouldn’t be considered a superhero; rather a costumed vigilante with too much time and money on his hands. (also, being self made is a bit of a stetch since he inherited all his money from his parents- but that’s just being nitpicky :)) Note: Batman is cool and keenly await the conclusion of the Chris Nolan series later this year.
Superman would probably have to be the greatest superhero of all time. His powers would whoop pretty much any other superheroes powers.
(since we are on the topic of Batman)
In terms of personal preference, wolvy was probably my favourite growing up. I have good memories tuning into X-men the cartoon in the mornings and collecting cards back in the day. Good times.
I should ask my brother this question and get his opinion- he is still mad into comics and am sure he would come up with a concrete argument to who is the best.
Woah no dishing the Batman! He is a self-made superhero in that he decided to become a superhero and went about about customizing his car/gadgets/outfits to help him do this (granted with a little help). Also he is a bad ass fighter from years of training. Self-made superhero not self made business man!
Also he totally is a superhero…. he protects the public from the best comic book bad guys around.
