Giraffes is one of only two living species of the family Giraffidae, the other being the okapi. It is the tallest living terrestrial animal in the world. Giraffe means camel leopard because its face is very similar to a camels and its skin pattern is similar to a leopards spots.

There is a great “Inside Natures Giants” on the giraffe!! Its on 4od if you want to watch it!
