I actually probably most enjoyed art- could zone out with some music and get creative! That being said- I didn’t enjoy my perfectionism and the late nights trying to master a peice of artwork for an assigment. It must take some skill and practice to rapidly pump out peices of art- like you see on those TV programs.
Probably the little bit of electronics that I did in CDT back in Yr 8 or so!
After that… I guess the practical chemistry sessions. During my A-levels we synthesised aspirin, and then took it to the labs nearby (Pfizer) to have its purity assessed by NMR. That suddenly seemed like real science 🙂
I guess I should say science, but I most enjoyed a class called design and communication which involved designing and doing technical drawings of things like buildings or packaging. Maybe I should have tried to be an architect, but when I got older I realised how much fun science was and decided to do that instead!
@09lgibbs – Awesome! You should totally do it, they are all really interesting and exciting jobs! Speak to your teachers about what you will need to do them at university, its probably all the same subjects!!
Yeah I agree with Vicky here, all really good jobs. Your teachers should be able to give you the advice on what you’ll need to study but I would expect it would include Biology, another science (chemistry or physics, or both!) and maths. Will be hard work but definitely worth it if you like the sound of those jobs!
(I have lots of friends who are Marine Biologists, I get very jealous of them diving all over the world or going down in submarines!)
