      I don’t think I’ve ever invented anything really, though I’ve modified things a bit, like turning a car wind screen washer into an automated cleaning system for one of our instruments. I like doing the engineering part of my job, though I’m probably better at the science!

      I have never invented anything really amazing, the science i do it more about discovery.

      But I did find out that putting cheese on top a chocolate digestive was awesome. It was like a party in my mouth!

      Not sure if it’s classes as an invention- but I have developed a mutation panel that can be used to determine the most effective treatmnet strategy for patients with melanoma. It actually just got published in the journal ‘Molecular Cancer Therapeutics’
