Question: The Earth is struck by lightning 6,000 times per minute and around 70% of the Earth's surface is water. Considering this, could my idea about lightning speeding up CO2 diffusion be valid??? :D

  Hey, your idea is definitely valid in that it will affect the CO2 flux. But compared to the total size of the ocean, the amount being struck by lightning is tiny (just think about when you look at the sea, not normally much lgihtning to see), so the overall effect is small.
