• Question: Something is said to have been faster than light - does this make time travel possible?

      I guess you are referring to the recent news from the particle accelerator at CERN, where some scientists thought they had measured a neutrino (a very small, almost massless particle) moving faster than light. They have now realised that this was a mistake (caused in part by a loose wire!). So we still think that nothing can go faster than light.
      If something could go faster than light, we would need to rethink a lot of physics. I’m not sure if this would make time travel possible, maybe Jarvist can provide more info?

      I don’t know much about time travel BUT we never thought we could go to the moon or transplant a heart or even fly!

      Nothing is ever impossible, we just haven’t found a way to do it yet!
