I think of science as a method to try and understand the world and our experiences of it. So science isn’t everything, but it can help us try and understand everything!

I don’t think science is everything…. but it does help us understand the world we live in. It helps us make a better life for people by providing the knowledge for healthcare and producing food products.

We are better traveled, have better health care and eat better than King Henry VIII all because of science. That’s amazing!!

Hmmm….depends, this is something that would be really fun to discuss with people face to face rather than here because it’s such an interesting and huge topic. I think if we were to meet and discuss this I would want to talk about it from a few different viewpoints, I think that it can be argued that science is everything as the work we do as scientists is based on trying to understand the world and if it is a method to understand what is around us, surely it can be said that everything can be studied with science and therefore it is everything. However, I’m sure it can also be argued in a more philosophical way about existence where you approach the question from a different angle.
      What do you think?
