This is a good question for your teachers and parents as they know you better than I do. I would find out what grades you need to study medicine at university (I think its 4 or 5 As?), it might only be A level results that are considered in which case you will be fine. If its not speak to your teachers and tell them what you want to do, they will be able to help you and tell you if you can retake exams etc.

Don’t worry to much there is always other ways to get into medicine if you don’t get the grades such as studying for a science degree first.

Good luck with it all and I hope you get to study medicine 🙂

Hi nidahayat, that’s really difficult to answer given that I don’t know you!

My suggestion is to be proactive about contacting the college that you want to go to and if you know which universities you may want to apply to and having a chat with their admissions departments. You could send them emails asking when is a convenient time to talk to them and call them then. Explain what you want to do, you’re obviously very passionate and dedicated to studying to become a doctor and they should be impressed that you are already thinking about it at this early stage. They may be able to explain exactly what grades you need and perhaps suggest extra experience you could get to boost your CV.

I think it’s great that you’re so eager to study and that you have such dedication and direction to pursue already. Good luck with it, I wish you every success!
