Question: i think it's extroardinary how animals can adapt to suit their natural surroundings. i want to be a vet so please could you explain that process in more detail? thanks

yeah i watched a documentary about the process of baby birds learning to fly. their parents urge them on by sort of pushing them out of the nest eventually?? the idea of geese recognizing the first creature they see as their parents is strange. is that how vets and other animal-related workers can raise geese from the egg without a problem?

Possibly, not sure…. here is a Wikipedia link about the process of imprinting which will probably describe it a bit better than I can! It has lots of info about all sorts of imprinting processes. 🙂
