I wanted to be a doctor from about 5-12 years old then I wanted to be a scientist from about 12 because I wanted to cure diseases.

Not really, I would say I made my decision up probably in high school, around grade 10. I have to admit I wasn’t sure if I was making the right choice when I started going to Uni but once starting a science degree I have never looked back! Lucky for me it appears I made a good decision and I absolutely love what I do.

Mmmm, I’m pretty certain I wanted to be an astronaut until I was about 13… which was probably when I realised that it’s probably easier to stay on the Earth & do fun things!

I definitely always wanted to be an engineer or a scientist, someone building things that did stuff.

No, I tried working in another job first (in business, selling books to universities) but I didn’t enjoy it. I was always interested in science, so I decided to try that and I’m very glad I did 🙂
