Yes. There is a lot of independent evidence (from land temperature measurements, ocean temperature measurements, ice extent measurements, satellite radiation measurements etc etc) that shows with a very high likelihood that the Earth is warming, and human activity is the main reason.
The vast majority of scientists now agree on this and are working on understanding more about it and developing ways of reducing the effects. Unfortunately, the main way of reducing the effects will be from reducing our use of fossil fuels, and there are plenty of organisations with a lot of money at stake in fossil fuels, who don’t want this to happen.
Yes i do. There is lots of evidence to back it up, way to much to cover here. There is a really good documentary-movie on it thought called An Inconvenient Truth. You should watch it!
Its educational so maybe you can even persuade your teacher to let you watch it in class!!
