      Yes, definitely!! In fact, one particular focus of mine is using the latest sequencing technology to find out stuff we didn’t know about melanoma. For example, we didn’t know what a ‘cancer genome’ looked like until the beginning of 2010 (a cancer genome is the entire spectrum of mutation events occurring in a persons tumour). This sequencing technology is crazy cool- it’s not outlandish that within 10 years you might have your genome sequenced (genome being your entire sequence of your DNA from start to finish). This is a bit off side track but, did you know you can spit in a tube (contains your DNA) and send it off to a company and get your DNA analysed already.
