      Yes! That’s the one good thing about melanoma or skin cancer- it’s the easiest cancer to detect early since most of the time its in plain view. They can sometimes be difficult to detect though so its best to get your skin checked by your doctor every 6 months. Other warning signs of a suspect mole is irregular borders, itchiness, bleeding, different colours or rapid growth. I just try to get mine checked every 6 months becuase its easier.
