• Question: are humans more advanced than technology alone?

      I would argue that humans are more advanced since technology is created by humans and is reliant on humans to keep it working and keep improving it.

      Mmm, certainly our technology is nowhere near the level where we can do everything that your body does artificially, or even understand what it is up to half the time. It’s complex and subtle in it’s actions & chemistry.

      However technology has enabled us to do things that biological beings + evolution would never be able to attain – starting with fire and the wheel, extending our senses by building radio telescopes and microscopes, to space probes sent to other planets. And we’ve achieved it all through the ingenuity and intelligence of our minds, with our weak little bodies and fingers evolved for holding onto tree branches! It’s amazing to think how much humans have achieved in such a short period of time.
