Often as you get older (old old, like 35 and over!) your eyes start getting more and more long sighted. For people (like me!) who are shortsighted, this can sometimes work to correct their vision, fixing their shortsightedness. This doesn’t work for everyone though, and you have to wait till your middle aged 🙂
Wow John really? Fingers crossed that happens to me 🙂
I am short sided and often wear contacts or glasses. I have fortngihtly disposable though (take out at night).
I had a friend who got the eye surgery- he said it was one of the worst experinces he had getting it done, you ever seen what they do. You have to be awake when they do it- youtube it and that is enough to put me off of it. That being said, his eyesight is perfect and doesnt have to worry about glasses anymore which is pretty cool. But then again, glasses are in ATM- geek sheek baby!
There are risks to both but they are different risks… surgery can go wrong and can affect your eye sight and can also lead to eye infections. Contact lenses wear can damage the cells on the surface of the eye and also cause infection! Neither risks are significantly high! If i had the money I’d have the surgery 🙂

Wow! Don’t the contact lenses stick to your eyes when you sleep? Or roll to the back of your eye? I’d love to leave mine in but I wear monthlys 🙁

Yeah I also want to hear more about these contacts, gets very tedious taking em out and putting them in every day…

No they don’t!!! I don’t know how – some kind of magic!
They are the AirOptix Day and Night lenses. Way cheaper than surgery 😉
